London Stansted Airport (STN) is an international airport just outside Bishop’s Stortford in Essex and 30 miles northeast of central London. Stansted is the newest of the three main London airports, having opened its first passenger terminal in 1991 to relieve pressure on Heathrow and Gatwick.
