Airports Council International Europe has announced significant progress, with the European airport industry, in the concrete steps towards net zero CO2 emissions, with plans to further accelerate commitments.
Avinor has achieved another milestone through the launch of a new Remote Towers Centre from which an initial 15 towers at an equivalent number of airports will be controlled.
Although there has been an increase in traffic developments during the first quarter of 2022 for Avinor, there is still room for improvement, as passenger volumes are at a level of 60 per cent of normal activity pre-pandemic.
