Beginning investments in 2019, Katowice Airport has officially announced the opening of its new aircraft apron, which has increased aircraft stands from 37 to 46.

During November 2021, Katowice Airport’s passenger traffic significantly increased by 580.0 per cent in comparison to results from the same month in 2020, which were heavily impacted by COVID-19.
