An On-Time Performance (OTP) Review has been released by Cirium,  identifying the world’s best performing airports and airlines for on-time flight operations in 2019.

Cirium CEO, Jeremy Bowen, said: “Airports which consistently operate on time and go that extra mile for their customers deserve to be recognised in an increasingly competitive environment and should be justifiably proud of reaching such a world-class industry standard. Achieving world-class customer satisfaction and industry-leading product differentiation is about more than just competitively-priced tickets and flight availability.”

Russia was ranked particularly well, with Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport (SVO) being named as the world’s most on-time airport, and Russian airline Aeroflot named as the most punctual European and global airline.

Sheremetyevo International Airport and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport were both remarkably successful, being awarded a top-three ranking in two separate categories.
