Airside operations cover a vast range of procedures, including but not limited to the management of aircraft movements, foreign object debris (FOD) detection, wildlife management, the handling of weather implications, evaluating law enforcement, ARFF, air traffic control, and incident responses.
Many of these directly impact the safety of passengers and staff and therefore are incredibly important for the day-to-day routine at an airport.
