International Airport Review had the chance to attend the World Aviation Festival in Lisbon, Portugal. At the conference, we had the opportunity to chat with the iconic, Ioanna Papadopoulou, Director of Communications and Marketing at Athens Airport.

She enlightened us on the progress of Athens Airport in trying to reach pre-pandemic levels, after a fairly successful summer. She told us how the airport were looking to attract new markets in India, South Korea and the U.S., and how they were accommodating to new Chinese travellers by making available translators and having Mandarin and Cantonese on airport robots.
