The ‘Towards sustainable air travel’ programme sees the company reducing its carbon emissions as low as is technologically and financially feasible across all of its airports.
The Christmas season is set to begin at Finavia’s airports, with the first charter flights from Europe landing at Ivalo Airport and Kittilä Airport from 25 November 2022.
Finavia's Ivalo, Kittilä and Kuusamo airports are now welcoming passengers again, with Tampere–Pirkkala Airport set to re-open in September 2020.
Rovaniemi, Kittilä and Ivalo airports will be expanded and more services added in response to rapid growth in the number of passengers.
