Martha Edge, Innovation and Experience Director at Charlotte Douglas International Airport spoke with International Airport Review Editor, Holly Miles, about the airport’s ‘Destination CLT’ upgrade. The project encompasses 14 capital projects including a fourth parallel runway, that are part of the airport’s master planning efforts to build an airport “fit for a Queen” – specifically Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg from who the airport and city takes it’s name and who now presides over the Queen’s Court in the new terminal lobby.
