London City Airport named UK’s best airport in Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2025

London City Airport (LCY) has been voted the UK’s best airport by Condé Nast Traveller readers, celebrating its speed, accessibility, and exceptional passenger experience.
London City Airport (LCY) has been voted the Best Airport in the UK in the prestigious Condé Nast Traveller UK Readers’ Choice Awards 2025, recognising its exceptional customer experience.
The award highlights LCY’s commitment to offering speed, accessibility and comfort within minutes of central London. The airport is the closest for more than half of all Londoners, and journeys from the front door to the departure gate can take as little as 10 minutes. More than two-thirds of passengers travel to and from the airport using the DLR and other public transport options.
The airport is also renowned for offering one of the most breathtaking flight approaches in aviation, with passengers enjoying unrivalled views of the City of London skyline as they descend.

LCY serves more than 30 destinations across the UK and Europe, including Ibiza, Palma and Sardinia. The airport is working closely with airline partners to broaden its network and enhance global connectivity through key hubs such as Amsterdam and Rome. British Airways recently announced a new regular service to Madrid from London City, starting in December.
The airport’s upgraded terminal now offers 30 per cent more seating, premium dining and retail options, and a streamlined security process supported by next-generation CT scanners that have halved queue times.
This award follows two other recent accolades, with The Daily Telegraph and Which? both naming London City as London’s Best Airport.
