SAS and Hoppago expand partnership to integrate global rail booking across 70 countries

HoppaGo, the world’s leading multi-modal ground transportation marketplace, and SAS, Scandinavia’s premier airline, have announced a major expansion of their strategic partnership. Building on their collaboration since September 2024, which enabled SAS customers to book pre-arranged and ride-hailing services, the partnership now integrates hoppaGo’s global rail network directly onto the SAS website.

From 30 June 2025, SAS customers will be able to book train tickets in minutes across more than 70 countries. The integration connects travellers with over 2,000 train operators, including Heathrow Express, Arlanda Express, and Renfe Viajeros. This allows passengers to avoid last-minute queues and manage bookings from a single platform.

The service is powered by hoppaGo’s proprietary SaaS technology, designed to tackle long-standing challenges in ground transport sales. By providing intelligent offers across multiple touchpoints in the travel journey, from the initial flight booking to post-booking emails and on-demand ride-hailing, hoppaGo ensures travellers are presented with the right option at the right time. This approach increases convenience while driving higher service uptake.

The expansion offers SAS customers more choice and flexibility than ever. Alongside hoppaGo’s existing marketplace of more than 70,000 ride providers in over 182 countries, passengers can now compare and book rail options instantly. This creates a complete “first mile, last mile” solution, enabling any traveller to customise their journey with ease, whether choosing a private transfer or a cost-effective train ticket.
