Salvador Bahia Airport (SSA), member of the VINCI Airports network, inaugurated its first sustainability complex. The compound brings together the terminal‘s main environmental initiatives, such as its Effluent Treatment Station (ETE), the Waste Centre, and its newest structure: a Biodiversity Centre with more than 600sqm space destined to the development of fauna and flora conservation actions.

The sustainability complex is born to achieve VINCI Airports’ environmental objectives as preserving natural resources, combating climate change, and implementing circular economy. The space will also carry out environmental education activities and interact with the airport community.
