Manchester Airport’s ongoing transformation project finally has a face. Watch a brand new visual insight into what it might look like.

Work on Manchester Airport’s brand new mega terminal began on July 21 as it seeks to expand Terminal 2. The airport, situated in the north west of England expects to have completed the large project by the end of 2023 and aims to cut queues, stress and waiting time for passengers.
UK Transport secretary Chris Grayling said: “I welcome Manchester Airport Group’s £1 billion programme to double the size of terminal 2, which will create 1,500 jobs.
“This is great news for the local economy and for passengers who will be able to fly to more destinations, more often.”
Meanwhile Manchester Airport chief executive Charlie Cornish said:
“This is the largest private investment that has been made in the region for some time and the increased connectivity that it will deliver will enable it to become one of the most accessible and productive regions in Europe.”
