Munich Airport will host Ninja Days this August, with elite athletes competing, public workshops, and an open obstacle course for visitors to test their skills.

In August, Munich Airport’s forum (MUC) will transform into a sporting arena for Ninja Days. Inspired by the Japanese TV show Sasuke, the event challenges athletes to conquer demanding obstacle courses, showcasing strength, agility, and mental resilience.
The “Ninja Champions Series,” a professional competition format, will kick off at Munich Airport on August 23, 2025, under the largest roofed outdoor forum in Europe. Around 50 professionals from over 16 nations will compete against each other in a K.O. tournament on a course that is almost 50 meters long and over seven meters high. The course was designed by renowned ninja athletes David Eilenstein and Chris Harmat.
The field of participants includes international stars such as Olivia Vivian from Australia, Abby Clark from the USA, and French title holder Clément Gravier. Commentators and guests at the event will include multiple “Ninja Warrior Germany” finalist Stefanie Noppinger and Austrian parkour athlete Simon Brunner. The competition starts at 4:00 p.m., with doors opening at 3:00 p.m. Admission is free, but tickets must be ordered online in advance at munich-airport.de/ninja.
On August 24, experienced athletes from the field of participants will teach the techniques and basics of the sport in workshops for beginners and advanced participants. The one-hour sessions will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Advance registration is required; ticket price is 15 euros.
From August 25 to September 7, the parcour will be open to passengers and visitors to join in and try it out. Participants must be at least 8 years old and at least 140 centimeters tall.
