How bags are tagged will be much thought about in 2023 according to the Director of Baggage Services.

We asked Darin Juby, Director, Baggage Services, Greater Toronto Airports Authority, ‘What top trends in baggage are you keeping an eye on for 2023?’

Darin said that he is keeping an eye on how bags are tagged. He went on to say that they are starting to see bags permanent bag tags become much more prevalent. Greater Toronto Airport Authority is running some proof of concepts looking at how these kind of bag tags might work in the future so watch this space! The way bags move, the way they are tagged and sorted is going to evolve in 2023.
