London Heathrow Airport (LHR) passengers arriving in London for the final dates of Oasis’s long-awaited reunion concerts are being invited to vote for either Team Liam or Team Noel after stepping off their flights.

Why is Heathrow Airport marking the final Oasis Wembley dates?

The Live ’25 reunion tour marks the conclusion of one of music’s most famous sibling rivalries. To celebrate this cultural milestone, Heathrow Airport has installed token-voting boxes in Terminal 5 Arrivals, giving fans the chance to cast their allegiance before Oasis’s final London performances on 27 and 28 September at Wembley Stadium. The results will reveal where loyalties lie as fans from across the world unite to witness the end of Oasis’s sixteen-year hiatus and the beginning of a new chapter for the band.

Between 27 August and 28 September, 4.3 million passengers are expected to land at Heathrow on international and domestic services. More than 25,000 will fly in from Manchester, the band’s home city, ahead of the last two gigs.

Music tourism continues to be a powerful driver for the UK economy. According to UK Music’s Hometown Glory report, 23.5 million music tourists travelled to and within the UK in 2024, up 23% on the previous year. Of these, 1.6 million were overseas visitors, an increase of 62% compared to 2023. London alone attracts 7.5 million music fans each year, contributing £2.7 billion in revenue and cementing its status as a global hub for live entertainment and culture.

Heathrow expects a record-breaking 84 million passengers in 2025, further strengthening its role as an international gateway to major events. The Oasis reunion is a prime example of how the airport connects travellers to unforgettable cultural moments.

Daniel Edwards, Director of Services at Heathrow, said: “Heathrow is proud to provide passengers from across the UK and around the world with access to unmissable events. We are excited to join Oasis fans in celebrating the long-awaited return of the band, welcoming them as they arrive at Heathrow for a landmark moment in music history this September.”

The airport’s voting initiative aims to get fans into the spirit of the reunion from the moment they arrive, giving them an early taste of the excitement building across the capital before Oasis take to the Wembley stage for their final two London shows.
