Ghana partners with ascent solutions and Rock Africa to enhance aviation security with API-PNR system

Ghana’s Civil Aviation Authority collaborates with Ascent Solutions and Rock Africa to deploy an Advanced Passenger Information and Passenger Name Record system, enhancing aviation security, passenger processing, and compliance with international standards.
Ascent Solutions, a subsidiary of EXEO Global, has signed an agreement with Rock Africa, Ghana’s Ministry of Transport, and the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) to develop and deploy an Advanced Passenger Information and Passenger Name Record System.

How will the API-PNR system enhance aviation security?
The API-PNR system will enhance passenger processing and security, ensuring compliance with international aviation standards, including the UN Security Council Resolution 2178 (2014) and Annex 9 of the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation, and represents a significant step forward in enhancing the security and operational capabilities of Ghana’s aviation infrastructure.
