Changi Airport has revamped its Changi Rewards loyalty programme, introducing new perks like enhanced parking, birthday vouchers and an exclusive tier for top spenders, aimed at enriching the customer experience.

Singapore’s Changi Airport has announced that it has enhanced its shopping and dining experiences with a comprehensive revamp of its loyalty programme, Changi Rewards. Managed by Changi Airport Group (CAG), the programme offers new perks aimed at enriching the customer journey for both casual visitors and frequent travellers, including the introduction of the exclusive Monarch tier for its most valued patrons.

Membership to Changi Rewards is free, attracting over two million members. Participants can earn points at most shops and restaurants across the airport’s terminals and Jewel Changi Airport, redeemable for rewards such as attraction tickets, e-vouchers, parking vouchers and KrisFlyer miles. A unique feature of the programme includes GST-absorbed shopping at participating outlets, allowing members to enjoy year-round savings of up to 9% on purchases.

The revamped programme includes several new benefits to enhance customer engagement. All members can now enjoy differentiated birthday rewards, with Gold and Platinum members receiving vouchers valued at S$20 and S$40, respectively, redeemable at any participating outlet.

Parking privileges have also been improved. Gold members receive one hour of free parking daily without any minimum spend requirement. Platinum members can enjoy up to four hours of free parking per day.

In addition, the newly launched Monarch tier is designed for elite members who spend over S$25,000 annually. This by-invitation-only tier offers exclusive benefits, including a 4% rebate on purchases, year-round complimentary parking and personalised shopping and dining services from the Monarch Concierge team. Monarch members also benefit from priority parking with over 20 reserved spots at the airport terminals and Jewel.

Jeffrey Loke, Senior Vice President of Pricing and Commercial Strategy at CAG, said: “With the Changi Rewards refresh, we aim to give both loyal and new customers even better reasons to shop and dine at Changi Airport.” 

The airport’s vibrant retail ecosystem plays a crucial role in attracting visitors, and enhancements to the loyalty programme are expected to increase footfall, benefiting both customers and tenants.
