The Fort McMurray Airport Authority (FMAA) has launched its first ever YMM Volunteer Programme.

“The YMM Volunteer Programme is part of our ongoing commitment to offer the best passenger experience possible,” says FMAA’s President & CEO Denean Robinson.

Volunteers will be trained to support passengers with flight information, wayfinding, and answer general questions which commonly arise during the passenger journey. Additionally, volunteers will have the opportunity to support YMM special events.

The programme can support individuals in building their resume, socialising, or staying active during retirement years. Whatever the reason, FMAA leadership is confident volunteers will enjoy the role and look forward to welcoming new members to Team YMM!

Residents are invited to apply to become a YMM Volunteer via FlyYMM.com. A minimum time commitment of eight hours per month is required to be a YMM Volunteer. Perks associated with being part of the program include: a free parking stall, free admission to YMM special events, exclusive Team YMM discounts and YMM Volunteer t-shirt. A criminal record check and in-person orientation are mandatory for those interested in participating in the program.
