Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), ‘America’s Friendliest Airport’, is kicking off the holiday season with a special initiative designed to show appreciation. The ’12 Days of Gratitude’ commenced on 5 December 2022 and will run through to 16 December 2022. During this time, a variety of activities will take place that will provide Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport with the opportunity to show its gratitude to its customers. And, several other activities will take place that will give travelers the opportunity to show their gratitude for others.

“At America’s Friendliest Airport®, we’re always looking for ways to enhance the experience for our travelers,” commented Director of Aviation Services Chad Makovsky. “I’m excited that this holiday season, we’ll be offering a variety of activities to acknowledge and thank our customers, while also providing them the opportunity to pay it forward by helping others.”

Over the course of the 12 days, passengers will find activities taking place both pre-and post-security in both terminals.  They’ll have the opportunity to win prizes, take their photo with our mascot Amelia the Airplane, take photos with Navigator Buddies, participate in an art activity, write notes of gratitude, and donate items for a canned food drive, among others.
