In July 2022, airports in the Aena network closed the month with 27,067,913 passengers, a 92 per cent recovery of the air traffic recorded in July 2019.
The Aena airport network has finished the month of May 2022 with 22,262,317 passengers, a figure that is 9.6 per cent from pre-COVID-19 pandemic levels.
In the lead up to the summer season 2022, airlines have scheduled 215.6 million seats at Aena’s network airports, an increase of 1.6 per cent compared to the summer season schedule pre-pandemic.
The Aena airport network wrapped up a challenging 2021 with 119,959,671 passengers, equivalent to 43.6 per cent of the pre-COVID-19 pandemic figures.
