Western Sydney International Airport is seeking diverse hospitality partners to deliver world-class dining for millions of future travellers.

Restaurants, cafés, bars, fast food outlets and other hospitality businesses are being invited to help shape a world-class dining experience at Western Sydney International Airport (WSI), Sydney’s only 24-hour international gateway.
Details on Western Sydney Airport’s efforts to diversify its food and beverage
Following a thorough registration of interest process, eligible food and beverage operators are now able to tender for space within the airport’s growing retail and hospitality precinct. The terminal will feature over 20 sites with approximately 2,300 square metres of leasable space.
WSI CEO Simon Hickey expressed excitement about the progress towards the airport’s opening in late 2026. “We are rapidly approaching opening day, with the completion of major construction works mere weeks away and our focus shifting to asset testing, live airport trials and commercial operations. It’s an incredible and exhilarating time at WSI,” he said.
Hickey emphasised the importance of creating a memorable and relaxing dining experience for millions of travellers. “Anyone who’s travelled through an airport would appreciate that once you’ve dropped off your bag and cleared security, you and your loved ones will most often be looking for a place to enjoy food and a drink before you board your flight,” he said.
He noted the desire for a variety of world-class, all-day dining options showcasing both international and Australian food trends, while reflecting Western Sydney’s diversity. “We’re also keen to hear from businesses who can help highlight our vibrant home city,” he added.
The tender process for hospitality businesses will close in the second half of 2025. Interested parties are encouraged to contact [email protected] for more information.
WSI remains on track to open for international, domestic and air cargo services in 2026, with the capacity to welcome up to 10 million passengers annually in its initial phase.
