ASIG®, an industry leader in aviation services, announced today that it has commenced ground handling and fueling services at Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). Following a competitive bid process, ASIG was awarded the contract to provide ramp-side services, cabin cleaning, passenger handling, commissary services, and aircraft refueling to all the domestic airlines operating at SFB. Services commenced June 7th and ASIG will be handling approximately 475 flights each month. Carriers operating at SFB include Allegiant, Direct Air and Vision Airlines.

Commenting on the new market entry at SFB, Andy Reeves, ASIG Senior Vice President, Operations, North America, said, “We are very excited about the opportunity to provide comprehensive aviation services at SFB. The new operation offers a unique opportunity to organically expand ASIG’s network at this important Orlando gateway. ASIG currently manages SFB’s fuel facility and providing comprehensive services at the airport is part of our overall business model of being a strategic supplier to the aviation community.”
