ASIG®, an industry leader in aviation services, announced today that it has named Tim Ramsey as Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, reporting directly to Keith P. Ryan, President. Tim is currently Group Information Technology Director for BBA Aviation, ASIG’s parent company. In his new role at ASIG Tim will provide strategic direction for the company’s global sales and marketing strategies.

Prior to his career at BBA Aviation, Tim worked at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) for 14 years. While at EDS he held positions ranging from Systems Engineer to various leadership roles, and worked in multiple industries, including banking, retail and transportation. Tim ultimately became an Account Executive, managing IT services and business relationships, and was directly responsible for Signature Flight Support’s outsourced IT functions. He joined BBA Aviation in 1995, when the company elected to bring its technology functions in-house. As BBA Aviation grew to include additional companies, Tim assumed responsibility for IT management at these companies, including ASIG. As Group Information Technology Director for BBA Aviation, he was responsible for integrating technology and strategic business decisions to improve operational performance for the companies and their customers, as well as drive new revenue generating opportunities. Tim has a BS in Business Administration from Florida State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Commenting on the appointment, Keith P. Ryan, President said, “Tim is bringing over 25 years of diverse business management experience to our Sales and Marketing efforts. As a result of his prior involvement with BBA Aviation, Tim knows and understands ASIG’s business operations and varied customer needs and is well placed to provide new structure and processes that will further strengthen our customer relationships in a mutually beneficial manner.”
