Press release: Airspace World launches full theatre agenda

Geneva, Switzerland, Thursday, 7 March – Airspace World, the largest air traffic management and near space event, is pleased to unveil its full agenda, now accessible to all attendees. In response to unprecedented demand for speaking slots, Airspace World organisers have added a fifth theatre to this year’s event.

Geneva, Switzerland, Thursday, 7 March – Airspace World, the largest air traffic management and near space event, is pleased to unveil its full agenda, now accessible to all attendees. In response to unprecedented demand for speaking slots, Airspace World organisers have added a fifth theatre to this year’s event.

Over the course of the three days, Airspace World will host 239 speakers from around the world and delivering more than 125 different debates, discussions and demonstrations. The subjects being covered include sustainability, advanced air mobility, unleashing the potential of drones, and innovation and digitalisation. Sessions will also explore the impact of future technologies, such as AI, on the aviation industry.

The five theatres are:

On the last day of event, Thursday, 21 March, the Future Skies: Tomorrow’s voices initiative will be launched including a number of activities tailored for young professionals in the aviation industry. This will include panel discussions on talent attraction and the announcement of a number of partnerships aimed at increasing youth diversity in the industry.

Some of the highlights of the agenda include:

Frequentis Theatre: Building an Aviation Strategic Plan for Service Excellence

Industry leaders, representatives from airlines, airports, and Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), will come together to explore the collaborative development of an Aviation Strategic Plan aimed at achieving digitalisation, service excellence and cost efficiency.

Boeing Theatre: Seamless Cross-Border ATM Operations

Aviation and regulatory leaders will investigate the complex world of international regulatory harmonisation and agreements aimed at achieving seamless cross-border Air Traffic Management (ATM) operations. They will explore the critical role of collaboration among nations and organisations in streamlining cross-border airspace management.

Wing Theatre: Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Vision Panel – Scaling Up Operations
This panel delves into scaling up AAM operations, addressing demand, airspace and infrastructure readiness, and specific user cases.

Indra Theatre: Securing Our Skies: Addressing the Cybersecurity Challenge

In this thought-provoking panel discussion, cybersecurity experts and aviation leaders will address the critical issue of safeguarding our skies in the digital age and explore the evolving landscape of cybersecurity challenges that impact the safety and security of airspace.

Future skies theatre: Synergising Civil-Military Collaboration for Flexible Airspace Management

This panel will discuss how effective the collaboration is between civil and military aviation authorities in ensuring the widespread implementation of Flexible Use of Airspace (FUA) across all regions.
