Cavotec MSL appoints new Group Manager for Investor Relations & Corporate Communications

Global engineering group, Cavotec MSL, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Scheepers as Group Manager, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications. Scheepers relieves the current Investor Relations Manager, John Polatz, on March 31, 2010.

“Michael is uniquely well-equipped for this position; he knows Cavotec remarkably well and has extensive experience of the industries in which we operate,” says Cavotec MSL CEO, Ottonel Popesco.

Having completed his academic training in The Netherlands, Scheepers started at Cavotec in 2002, where he has since held several positions, including Marketing Assistant, Communications Manager, and his current post, Manager, Corporate Communications & PR. He is a Dutch citizen, resident in Switzerland and is fluent in English, Dutch, Italian and German.

Scheepers’s comprehensive knowledge of the Group will ensure a close and synergy-rich relationship with Cavotec’s CFO, Diego Fiorentini. As previously announced, Fiorentini took over John Polatz’s responsibilities as CFO on January 1, 2010.
