Polish Airports has been awarded the prestigious “Ambassador for the Polish Economy” status for the fourth time in a row for the implementation of the Chopin Airport City project.

The aim of the “Ambassador for the Polish Economy” awards is to encourage Polish companies to promote Poland abroad as a reliable business partner. The award committee chooses internationally successful Polish companies, promoting high business standards and good practices in working relations with foreign partners. Another objective is to strengthen the cooperation between entrepreneurs and  representatives of Polish institutions responsible for promoting Poland, its economy, culture and social initiatives by developing contacts and exchanging information.

Polish Airports, the operator of Warsaw Chopin Airport, was awarded in the “Creator of 21st Century Solutions” category in recognition of its Chopin Airport City project. The company has been awarded the “Ambassador for the Polish Economy” status for the fourth time.

In the 5th edition of the competition, run by Business Centre Club under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, 71 companies were awarded. The official final was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Warsaw on Friday 20 September. The winners were presented with diplomas by Henryka Mościcka-Dendys, Under Secretary of State, and Marek Goliszewski, president of BCC.
