Main airport events of August 2012 that effected the network were bomb disposal at Amsterdam Schiphol; a lack of parking slots at Frankfurt airport due to Lufthansa’s cabin crew strike; planned infrastructure work at Brussels and Frankfurt airports and staffing issues in Oslo.

Further bottlenecks were ACC and staffing issues in Barcelona, Warsaw, Marseille, Munich, Zagreb and Nicosia.

Compared with the same period last year, the traffic decreased by 1.2% while ATFM delays decreased by 50.9%.
