We caught up with Andrew Margolis, Chief Operations Officer at Vancouver Airport Authority, at Passenger Terminal EXPO in Amsterdam, to hear what he had to say about Vancouver Airport’s operations and post-pandemic recovery.
At Passenger Terminal Expo 2023, Andy Margolis, Chief Operations Officer, Vancouver Airport Authority spoke to International Airport Review about his airport’s operations and how they have recovered.
He also went on to discuss how they have invested in digital twin technology; how the pandemic exposed that airports have been too reliant on passengers and personnel.
Andy went on to say that “there is a line between efficiency and resilience and you do not want to become so efficient that your operation does not become resilient.”
