As a result of the European day of action, there were 1,500 fewer flights on 14 November in European airspace as well as 250 cancellations the next day, due to the Marseille ACC strike. The latter also caused 49,000 minutes of delay. All the same, there was 40% less ATFM delay in November 2012 compared with November 2011.

As winter approached, there were more complications caused by adverse weather conditions, particularly at London Heathrow in this month.
