More than 7 percent increase in international traffic

A total of 3,869,315 passengers travelled through one of Avinor’s airports in November. This is an increase of 3.8 percent compared to the same month last year. International traffic had the strongest growth at 7.3 percent.

Domestic traffic increased by 2.5 percent compared to last November. The number of aircraft movements increased by 2.2 percent in November.

At Avinor’s largest airport, Oslo Airport, Gardermoen, passenger numbers increased by 3.7 percent in November.

Among the major airports, growth was greatest at Stavanger Airport, Sola. Passenger figures there increased by 6.6 percent. Trondheim Airport, Værnes followed with growth of 4.4 percent, while Bergen Airport, Flesland, saw growth of 1.8 percent.

The national airports – Bodø, Tromsø, Kristiansand and Ålesund – had an average growth of 1.8 percent. Among these airports, growth was greatest at Tromsø Airport with 6.7 percent.

At the regional airports growth averaged 5.9 percent, and at local airports growth was 6.1 percent.

So far this year 43,162,561 passengers have travelled through Avinor’s airports. This is an increase of 5 percent compared to last year.
