Join this virtual panel to hear from some of the AtkinsRéalis and aviation sector experts as we discuss how asset management is changing and the impact it will have on the future operations of airports throughout the world.

The aviation sector is in the midst of a transformational period. Use of digital tools is becoming increasingly important to help airports manage assets and data more effectively, ensure they operate smoothly at maximum capacity and deliver great passenger experiences.

Many airports are close to reaching maximum capacity for operations, and with limitations on how they can increase their passenger numbers amid the rising number of people travelling, asset management is a key part of enhancing operations, reducing risk and delivering more capacity within existing operational environments.

This panel will discuss the challenges faced by airports throughout the world around understanding and optimising their assets, information management, becoming digitally enabled, and mitigating operational risks.

We will explore how airports are approaching these challenges, how they are adopting digital tools and approaches to help overcome them and then some examples of where implementing the approaches have led to a significant improvement in asset and information management and the direct impact this has had on their day-to-day operations.

Key learning points:

  • The importance of taking a holistic view of information and asset management to enable more effective decision making
  • What are the new approaches available to airport that utilise digital tools and processes?
  • Where these technologies and approaches are going and how to integrate them into existing airport operations
  • What outcomes these approaches can deliver from real world examples
  • Q&A session with the panel to explore your specific challenges and potential approaches to overcoming them
