Saab Sensis Corporation, a subsidiary of defense and security company Saab, has hired Jana Murphy as chief of Washington, D.C. operations. Based in the company’s Washington, D.C. office, Murphy will be responsible for leading the company’s government, legislative and industry affairs.

Murphy has over 15 years of public policy and federal government agency experience. Prior to joining Saab Sensis, Jana served at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) since 2007, most notably as the FAA chief of staff. She has also held senior positions at the U.S. Department of Transportation and on Capitol Hill with Congressman Robin Hayes (R-NC). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Taylor University.
