Stéphane Geffroy, 39, became Sales and Marketing Director of Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport with a mission to develop Aéroports de Lyon’s freight and passenger traffic.

Stéphane Geffroy, 39, became Sales and Marketing Director of Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport. His mission is to develop Aéroports de Lyon’s freight and passenger traffic in order to achieve the airport’s goal to become France’s second busiest international gateway and hub.

Stéphane Geffroy is also responsible for developing and managing the platform’s commercial activities by continuing the innovation policy launched several years ago which includes the Malls, Property Development and Car Parks. His team of 47 people assists him in this undertaking.

A graduate of the Rouen Business School (ESC Rouen), Stéphane Geffroy’s career has focused to date on international business development, multi-channel distribution strategy and on-line sales in a multicultural environment.

His professional experience has been in and with the world of air transport and travel, in particular at Air France, as multinational accounts manager for on-line travel bookings. After three years at Opodo, he became white label manager for Expedia in France which called on all his talents in brand development, brand activities and the negotiation and closure of new contracts and partnerships.

A travel, golf and wine lover, Stéphane Geffroy loves to spend quality time with his two children and reading, whenever time permits!
