In total, 3,934,627 passengers travelled to or from one of Avinor’s airports during July this year. This is a new record for July.

Air traffic measured by number of passengers increased by almost 8 per cent in July, compared with the same month last year. The biggest increase was in international traffic, at over 10 per cent.

Growth so far this year is 12.8 per cent – approximately the same for both domestic and international.

Among Avinor’s larger airports, Oslo Airport Gardermoen had a growth of 8 per cent, Stavanger Airport Sola 13.1 per cent, while Bergen Airport Flesland and Trondheim Airport Værnes both ended up with a growth of 9.5 per cent.

The regional and local airports had a growth of 3.8 per cent in July.

Measured by number of aircraft movements, the growth in air traffic in July was 2.3 per cent, compared with the same month last year.
