ASIG®, an industry leader in aviation services, announced today that Shell Aviation has awarded ASIG five HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environmental) Awards for the management and operation of Shell’s airport fuel operations within the United Kingdom as part of Shell’s Goal Zero Awards scheme. In 2010, ASIG received four awards for their 2009 performance. The criteria for Shell’s Goal Zero program are compliance to HSSE and operating standards, competence and training, corrective actions and maintaining zero injuries, spills and accidents. ASIG provides aircraft refueling and fuel facility management services for Shell Aviation’s airline customers at numerous airports in the United Kingdom.
Keith P. Ryan, ASIG President, commenting on the awards stated, “This is quite an accomplishment for ASIG Europe and we are very happy to be recognized by Shell as a supplier that demonstrates a serious commitment to health, safety and the environment. It is through the ongoing efforts of our staff that we are able to continuously deliver high quality aviation services in a safe and reliable manner. We have clearly raised the bar for our performance once again.”
