HITT has received a Notification of Award to deliver a traffic control system (A-SMGCS) for the airport of Xi’an in China. The airport has been growing rapidly. Passenger numbers since 2003 have grown with an average of 19 per cent annually to 15.3 million in 2009. The airport is one of the eight largest in China.

HITT has also been awarded a number of long-term performance contracts in the local market. In accordance with its business strategy, HITT is building up a strong position in this market.

The new contracts represent a total value of approximately EUR 6.5 million.
