IFSEC, the world’s largest annual security event, will launch a new and interactive feature area focussing on fully integrated security systems. Targeted at educating end-users and installers about the merits of integrated security systems, the new Intelligent Integration Zone will be sponsored by ISM, specialists in the manufacture and development of graphical security control management systems.

Taking place from 10 – 13 May 2010 at the NEC Birmingham, IFSEC provides security installers, manufacturers, distributors, IT integrators, end-users and consultants with a platform to keep up-to-date with the ever-changing developments of the global security industry.

The feature area, based on stand E140 in hall 4, promises to deliver an incredible and unique visitor experience by allowing visitors the opportunity to observe active integration as seven different security suppliers integrate their technologies. A number of industry renowned manufacturers will showcase the various elements that go into a fully integrated security system and how they work together, including:

  • Detection Technologies – Perimeter intruder detection systems
  • COE – Video surveillance
  • Visimetrics – Digital CCTV recording systems
  • ACT – Access control products
  • Red Box Recorders – Audio recording
  • Cronapress – Alarm/Call strips

James Blue, Director of Fire & Security at UBM Live, organisers of IFSEC, said: “We are extremely excited about this unique feature area as it will further enhance the visitor experience at IFSEC. We appreciate the time people take to visit the event and as a result of this, we pride ourselves on offering invaluable complimentary educational content. This new feature will allow visitors to learn about gaining maximum efficiency from their legacy systems as well as offering solutions for future proofing and saving money.”

Visitors to the feature will witness live demonstrations of all the products being showcased as well as an interactive demonstration of a live control and command centre.

Stephen Smith, Sales and Marketing Director at Integrated Security Manufacturing Ltd., said: “We are excited about producing this feature in conjunction with IFSEC and we are in no doubt that visitors will gain a much greater understanding of how a fully integrated security system can deliver both value and quality to their security needs.”

The feature will be based in the extensive exhibition at IFSEC which will be organised into the following categories: Integrated Security: IP & Network Solutions, Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Counter Terror & Physical Security, Security Solutions and Fire Solutions. Canon, Dallmeier, Genie CCTV, HIK Vision, Hitachi, IndigoVision, JVC, Norbain, Panasonic and Sony are amongst those exhibiting.
