We are proud to be selected as the “Best Airport Operator” at the EMAA, which takes the pulse of the emerging aviation industry, thanks to the airports we have been operating. Besides it is really important for us that the airports we are operating in Georgia and Tunisia were awarded “Best Airport” in their regions as we are making big investments in the emerging markets as TAV Airports. These awards do really motivate TAV employees.”
Şener took attention the international achievements of TAV Airports: “We are glad that our airports in Tunisia and Georgia were also awarded as our airports at home. Last year we hosted more than 42 million people at our terminals. In the first financial quarter of 2010 we increased the number of passengers at our terminals as 19% compared to the same period of last year. Our success lies in being prepared for every occurrence and maintaining a visionary outlook.”
