M.A.G’s Commercial Director for Cargo, Graeme Ferguson, has been named 2014 Sieff Future Leader at the Business in the Community’s (BITC) Responsible Business Awards.
Graeme, responsible for cargo and general aviation at M.A.G, picked up the prize in recognition of his crucial role driving growth in the cargo business and championing sustainability across the group’s four airports. As a result of winning, he will represent the region as a Sieff Ambassador, and talk to business leaders across the area to help them develop their sustainability policies.
In accepting the Award, Graeme said: “I am absolutely delighted and hugely honoured to have won the 2014 Sieff Future Leader Award. M.A.G is genuinely committed to ensuring that its business operates in a responsible fashion and fully engaged in working with the East of England to develop a positive and effective sustainability strategy that delivers real value and change to benefit communities.”
Stansted Airport’s Managing Director, Andrew Harrison, said: “This is a great moment for Graeme, for M.A.G and for Stansted. I was delighted to be at the ceremony and to be among the first to congratulate him on this outstanding achievement.
