Chopin Airport handled over 789,000 passengers in April 2014, an 8.3% fall year-on-year.
In total, the airport has handled 2.78 million travelers since the beginning of the year, including 2.42 million on international flights (down 0.8%) and 360,000 domestically (up 7.1%).
The number of aircraft movements decreased by 8.4% in April to 9,600.
The record performance in 2013 was helped by Ryanair and Wizz Air’s unplanned decision to transfer all their flights to Chopin Airport following runway closure in Modlin Airport. Now Ryanair operates back to Modlin.
