Results of 11 months of work: Domodedovo passenger traffic grew by 10%

Following the results of January–November 2013, the passenger traffic of Moscow Domodedovo Airport amounted to 28.7 million people. The year-on-year increase made 10%. The number of flights increased by 4,1% to make 242 thousand take-offs and landings.
The domestic routes passenger traffic for eleven months of 2013 reached 11.6 million people, which is 8,8% more than for the same period of last year. The maximum index dynamics is registered in the following domestic destinations: Makhachkala, Rostov-on-Don, Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar, Saratov. Passenger traffic on these routes amounted to 2.7 million people, which is 24% more than for the same period of last year.
Passenger traffic on international routes for the same period amounted to 17.1 million people (plus 10,9% compared to January-November of 2012). The highest growth is registered on the following international routes: Antalya, Sharm El Sheikh, Larnaca, Hurghada, Barcelona.In January-November 2013, 2,9 million passengers were transported on these routes which means an increase by 37,3% yoy.
Domodedovo cargo traffic for eleven months of 2013 increased by 2% yoy and amounted to 180.8 thousand tons.
Following the results of November 2013, the passenger traffic of Moscow Domodedovo Airport increased by 2.2% yoy and amounted to 2.1 million people. The number of flights increased by 2.5% to make 20.4 thousand take-offs and landings.
In November, the highest growth in passenger traffic was registered on domestic routes – plus 7.1% yoy; the passenger traffic amounted to 1 million people.
In November, international airlines passenger traffic amounted to 1.1 million.
Domodedovo cargo traffic for the last autumn month was 18.2 thousand tons.
