The number of passengers handled by Vienna Airport rose by 2.1% year-on-year to 1,658,971 in November 2012.

Declines were recorded in the number of flight movements with minus 2.3%, maximum take-off weight (MTOW) with minus 3.5% and cargo with minus 6.4%. In contrast, the number of transfer passengers using Vienna Airport in November 2012 was 2.0% higher than the same month in the previous year. The number of local passengers increased 2.4% during this same period.

Passenger traffic to Eastern Europe increased 8.1% in comparison with November of the previous year. The number of passengers travelling to Western Europe rose by 1.6%, while the Middle East recorded a decline of 0.9% for that month.
