On October 10th and 11th, Munich Airport will be the site of the Airport IT&T Conference 2012. At the event, airport CEOs, IT managers and other experts from the aviation industry can learn about airport-specific computer technologies and highly specialized software.
The complex operational processes of an airport can be carried out only with the aid of sophisticated and innovative hardware and software. The conference at Munich Airport is also an opportunity to present innovative IT solutions and concept to an audience of interested specialists. Dr. Michael Kerkloh, the CEO of FMG, stressed the fundamental role of IT for all aspects of aviation: “Airports and airlines are so tightly networked around the world that they must fully depend on the reliability of computer technologies. The IT industry therefore faces the challenge of continually optimizing IT to meet the constantly rising demands.”
Consequently, the main focus of the two-day conference will be the discussion of the optimal IT support of core processes for the handling of air traffic.
