ADB deploys turnkey airfield ground lighting solution for Shenzhen Baoan International Airport

New equipment helps improve airport’s operational efficiency…
ADB Airfield Solutions has deployed an end-to-end airfield ground lighting solution to renovate Shenzhen Baoan International Airport’s original runway. The renovation has greatly reduced maintenance time at the airport, ensuring continuous, efficient operations of the runway.
“Shenzhen is one of China’s fastest growing commercial cities making its airport a key hub in the country. The task at hand was to ensure the runway didn’t have to close for regular maintenance and checks,” said Christian Onselaere, CEO, ADB Airfield Solutions. “Our product track record that promises minimal downtime made us the ideal partner.”
ADB renovated the airport’s runway with its airfield ground lighting solution including Precision Approach Path Indicators (PAPI), constant current regulators (CCRs) and Switchover Cabinet (SOC).
