The Greater Rockford Airport Authority today announced it will begin a national search for an Executive Director of the Chicago Rockford International Airport.

Chicago Rockford International Airport logoThe Authority’s national search will include working with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s career services and alumni services programs as well as working through other resources to identify the best candidate for the position. The Authority also will determine the need to utilize a national search firm to assist with the effort. The national search will begin immediately.

“The Authority’s goal is to ensure we proactively seek out the best person to oversee the direction of the Chicago Rockford International Airport and continue to move us forward in both cargo and passenger service,” said Bharat Puri, acting Authority Chairman.
