The new connection is especially attractive for business travellers. Due to its status as a special economic zone, the city is very well known for the electrical and telecommunication industry based there, attracting many foreign investors. Located in the South Chinese Pearl River Delta, Shenzhen borders to the north of Hong Kong and it is considered as one of the fastest growing cities in the world.
As China’s national airline and a Star Alliance member, Air China operates a flight network of 6000 flights per week from its home airport in Beijing. The Frankfurt to Shenzhen route will operate using an Airbus A330-200.
The Air China counters can be found in Frankfurt Airport terminal 1, area B, on the second floor, number 517 – 524.
