LEO A DALY is proud to announce that senior associate and regional aviation market director Geoffrey S. Ax has been appointed to serve a five-year term as a member of the American Association of Airport Executives’ (AAAE) corporate committee steering group. AAAE is the world’s largest professional organization with 5000-plus members representing some 850 airports and hundreds of companies and organizations that support the airport industry.
The steering group works with the AAAE Board of Directors to support the organization’s involvement with policy decisions and lobbying, increasing membership, and promoting communications among corporate and airport members. Speaking of his appointment Mr. Ax said, “I am honored to serve on the Steering Committee and look forward to working with the members of the board to support the mission of the organization.”
Ax is responsible for nationwide project development and the strategic direction of the aviation market for LEO A DALY and has extensive experience in providing design services at over twenty of the largest airports in the U.S. He is a licensed architect and a LEED Accredited Professional, as well as a regular participant throughout the aviation industry with the Airports Council International-North America (ACI‐NA), Airports Consultant Council (ACC), as well as the Design‐Build Institute of America (DBIA), holding various committee positions in all organizations. Ax also speaks at industry events on subjects such as exit lane technology, self‐tagging, airport technologies, and passenger checkpoints.
