In July, international traffic to and from Avinor’s airports increased by 14 per cent compared to the same month last year…

In July, international traffic to and from Avinor’s airports increased by 14 per cent compared to the same month last year, while domestic traffic saw only modest growth of 0.3 per cent.

A total of 4,462,056 passengers travelled to and from Avinor’s airports in July.

Among the major airports, Oslo Airport saw growth of 7.1 per cent. Bergen Airport experienced growth of 12.5 per cent, while Stavanger and Trondheim airports had growth of 8.6 and 5.6 per cent respectively.

Among the regional airports, Ålesund airport had the highest increase at 18.2 per cent.

The regional and local airports had a combined growth in traffic of 3.9 and 7.2 per cent respectively.

Aircraft movements in July increased by 5.7 per cent compared to the same month last year.

So far this year 27,754,192 passengers have travelled to and from Avinor airports. This represents an increase of 4.2 per cent on last year.
