For decades, Munich Airport has been customer of the company Kahlbacher, the specialist for outstanding solutions in snow clearing from Kitzbühel/Tyrol. The snow clearing technology from Tyrol reliably relieves Munich Airport from snow and helps to keep the airport operable during the winter.

The key handover for the three new snow loading machines with a power of 1300 HP each took place at Munich Airport these days. The power is made up of a driving engine with 400 HP and an auxiliary engine with 900 HP which propels the cutter blower. Permanent innovation associated with proven technology and perfect service developed in the year 2012 a new generation of high-speed cutter-blowers for snow loading. The reasoned concept, solid steelwork, decades of experience and proven microprocessor-control convinced the Munich Airport.

The airport high-speed cutter blower KFS 1250 M2 is the further development from the series KFS 170 M2. It loads the snow walls from rollways and movement areas to trucks within minutes due to its power.

The compact attachment to a standard winter service truck chassis allows a low front axle load, a small distance of gravity, wellbalanced distribution of load and increased manoevrability of the clearing equipment.

With the clearing system of the KFS 1250 M2 any types of snow to hard, frozen snow can be collected and loaded.

The automatic load dependent feed regulation ALV offers unsurpassed driving comfort and optimal achievement utilization of the driving engine and so a highest possible clearing speed. Driving and feed speed are continuously adjustable in working and transporting mode.
