A VINCI Airports-led consortium has been selected to modernise Rennes and Dinard airports through a new concession focused on connectivity and sustainability.
A consortium comprising VINCI Airports, the Ille-et-Vilaine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and SEALAR has been selected by the Brittany Regional Council to manage and develop Rennes Bretagne Airport (RNS) and Dinard Bretagne Airport (DNR).
The decision follows a competitive tender process lasting almost two years and marks the beginning of a new concession that will focus on strengthening connectivity, modernising airport infrastructure, improving passenger services and accelerating environmental initiatives across both airports.
According to the consortium, the project has been designed to support the long-term development of the airports while ensuring financial sustainability and increasing their contribution to the regional economy through improved accessibility for residents, businesses and visitors.
Modernisation programme aims to strengthen regional connectivity
One of the project’s principal objectives is expanding domestic and international connectivity. The 2026 summer schedule already reflects this ambition, with 15 direct destinations served by eight airlines. New routes to Ajaccio, Bastia and Seville will be introduced, while services to Dublin and Manchester will return. Frequencies will also increase on existing routes including London Gatwick, Marseille and Nice.
Passengers will also have access to almost 200 onward destinations through connecting services via Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), strengthening Brittany’s links with international markets.
The wider programme also includes plans to modernise airport facilities, improve the passenger experience and reduce the environmental impact of airport operations. Further details of the infrastructure investment programme are expected to be announced by the Brittany Regional Council and the consortium during autumn 2026.

The consortium said combining VINCI Airports’ operational expertise with the regional knowledge of the Ille-et-Vilaine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and SEALAR will support sustainable airport development while strengthening Brittany’s economic and tourism competitiveness.
